SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING TIPS - PART 13
Tips on financing your
social media account
1. Some
social media only needs to be checked once a day.
Checking once daily may be all
that your social media account needs. IF this is the case, there is no need to
pay an extra just to have it checked several times a day.
2. Check
your database for currently existing multimedia content.
Maybe there is no need to order
new logo or graphics. Check the ones you used in your previous videos and
slideshows. Maybe you can still use some of them.
3. Supply
currently existing graphics to hired multimedia artists.
It might help cut the cost if you
provide artists you hire with currently existing graphics and logo.
4. Hire
freelancers to do tasks.
Instead of hiring a regular
employee, it is better to hire a freelancer to do the job. It is less costly.
You can use micro outsourcing sites like www.microworkers.com which charges on
a per task basis.
5. Freelancers
from Asian countries are usually cheaper to hire.
Asian freelancers are not
necessarily less competent. In fact, many of them produce world class quality.
But because of their location, their asking price is lower.
6. Use
safe payment methods.
There is no need to expose your
credit card number or your bank account number. There is also no need to expose
your physical address by sending money via a courier. Instead, you can use safe
payment methods like Paypal which protects your personal and account
information.
7. Check
if there is someone among your employees who can do the task.
Maybe there is really no need to
hire another person to do the task. Ask your employees. Maybe some of them have
the skills to make multimedia content and write articles for your social media
page.
8. Check
if financing your social media site is getting returns.
Maintaining a social media site
might cost money and time. If it is not yielding you results, maybe it is not
an effective marketing strategy for your line of business.
